When David was a child he suffered the consequences of living in a very dysfunctional abusive family setting.   He married at age 20 & dedicated his life to his wife Gill & two sons Carl & Grant. When he became a Father at the young age of 22 he decided that he would be a good caring parent & achieved this with much laughter, fun, kindness & compassion.  He became a Grandfather in his early 50's & so enjoyed being with his Grandchildren. Sadly he suffered with the torment of mental health problems all his life which he  managed to hide from everyone . It was only when he was diagnosed with terminal cancer did he finally seek help to try to put to rest the torment and memories that plagued his mind. He found sanctuary via the local church & made a tremendous impact on the lives of those around him helping the ones in need even though he himself was terminally ill. Before his death he put his troubled mind in order. He died peacefully aged 54 in Sept 2010 in a hospice surrounded by his own little family & friends. We will remember him with lots of love & are so proud that he had the will,  passion  and dedication to be a genuine understanding fun loving fantastic Dad & husband who loved us all so very much in his own special way.
